not having a baby
we would like to announce that none of the members of our household (save the possibility of greg who we don't know about but he's only half a household member now) are having babies.

babies babies babies. even their absence is cute!@!!!!

Babies are only little people. There's a lot of babies, and not enough abstract contemplation of their virtues, which are present in us all. The absence of a baby is the foregrounded continuity of our living, only more alluring as an absence if the answer to a question we were asked long ago. That we've been puzzling over. That we've been hurting without.
