i'm not going to try.
today: slept kept (wept inept) woke poke ate late walked talked !stalked! mocked chewed mood-food played (made grade) stayed.

now: chasing virtual tinkles. my limbs are heavy, but i'm pleasant. don't believe me? come spend some time with me, and i won't try to charm you. if you end up thinking i'm pleasant, buy me a milkshake. if not, i'll buy you one. naturally, that'll change your mind (because what promotes pleasantry like a milkshake!) and you'll buy me a milkshake. either way, i get a milkshake, and you get a pleasant me, with an optional milkshake.

no cheating.

i'd buy a ravi a milkshake, if that ravi gave me some. then i'd make conclusions on his pleasantry.

you're only supposed to buy me a milkshake if i'm already pleasant. thus, if you re-evaluate my pleasantness after partaking of my milkshake, you could decide that i was then *not* pleasant, requiring me to purchase a milkshake for you. at which point you would deem me pleasant once again, and buy me a milkshake, renewing the cycle. in the long run, you'd be getting more than 50% of the collective milkshake, since you'd be consuming yours as well as partaking of mine. however, since i'm so pleasant and i love you so much, i'm agreeable to the proposition.

you will have to, however, augment the gift with the addition of a plastic ladies' razor.

ahh but what of those of us who have milkshaked with you? (who know you are pleasant?) shall i buy you another? and then again again? pleasant you are: pleasant you remain. i love you, and you don't need me to buy you milkshakes.

i don't need you to buy me milkshakes? where-ever did you get that idea? and really, does the world need to know who i've shaken milk with? that's a nice phrase. i think i'll incorporate it into my lexicon.

on the plus side, there's a positive terminal.

perhaps i only thought it so obvious to you that i would buy you milkshakes that you didn't need the gesture of the actual purchase to reassure you . . . but as for that, it actually seems like someone else bought *both* of our milkshakes, and it was rather a more public place than merits this reluctance to speak it aloud.

i won't tell anyone. :)
